Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Wellora ("we," "us," "our") collects when you use the Wellora wellness assessment platform, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have over it.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, mobile number, age, gender, and occupation provided during registration.
• Wellness data: your answers to primary assessment and Deep Dive questions, computed scores, wellness grades, strength/growth areas, and personalized recommendations.
• Payment metadata: transaction amount, payment status, and Razorpay order/payment references for assessments, Deep Dives, and consultation bookings. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank account details — these are handled entirely by Razorpay.
• Consultation data: details you submit when requesting a paid consultation with a specialist.
• Usage information: login timestamps and basic technical logs used to keep the platform secure and working correctly.
• Analytics data (only if you accept analytics cookies): pages visited, the steps you take in the assessment, and device and browser details, collected by the tools listed in section 7.

2. How we use your information

• To generate your wellness score report, category breakdowns, and personalized recommendations.
• To process payments for assessments, Deep Dives, and consultation bookings.
• To assign and coordinate consultation requests with specialists.
• To verify your email via one-time password (OTP) during registration and sensitive account actions.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of your account and the platform.
• To understand how Wellora is used and improve it, and to measure our advertising — only if you accept analytics cookies.

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with the third parties needed to operate the platform:

• Razorpay — to process payments securely. Razorpay receives the information necessary to complete a transaction and is subject to its own privacy and security practices.
• Email delivery provider — to send OTP verification codes and account notifications.
• Assigned specialists — only the details necessary to fulfil a consultation you have explicitly requested and paid for.
• Analytics and advertising-measurement providers — only if you accept analytics cookies; see section 7 for who they are.

4. Data retention

We retain your account and wellness data for as long as your account is active. If you deactivate your account, your data is preserved so you can be reactivated on request. If you permanently delete your account (see Account Deletion), your personally identifying details (name, email, mobile number) are anonymized immediately, while anonymized transaction records may be retained where required for accounting, tax, or legal compliance.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted password storage, secure session handling, and Razorpay's PCI-compliant payment infrastructure — to protect your information. No system is completely immune to risk, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Wellora account.

6. Your rights

• Access and correction: you can review and update your profile information at any time from your account settings.
• Deletion: you can permanently delete your account and anonymize your personal data at any time — see Account Deletion for how.

7. Cookies, analytics and your choices

Essential cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you securely logged in and to protect your account (for example, session management and CSRF protection). These are always on because the site cannot work without them.

Analytics and advertising-measurement cookies — optional, only with your consent. When you first visit, we ask whether you accept these. Until you click Accept, none of the tools below are loaded and none of their cookies are set. If you click Decline, they stay off, and we remember your choice for one year. The tools we use are:

• Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement) — to understand how people use Wellora and to measure whether our advertising works.
• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) — to measure the results of our advertising on Meta platforms.
• Microsoft Clarity — to see aggregated page interaction such as clicks and scrolling.
• Wellora's own event log — a simple record of steps taken in the assessment, tied to a random per-visit identifier rather than your name or email.

These tools may place cookies and share information such as your device, browser and the pages you visit with the provider. We do not use them to make decisions about you, and we do not send your assessment answers or scores to them.

Changing your mind. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using Cookie settings (also in the footer of every page). Withdrawing consent switches the tools off and removes the analytics cookies we can reach; you can also clear cookies in your browser settings.

8. Consent, and your rights under the DPDP Act

Wellora handles personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We process your wellness answers only with your consent. You give it when you create your account by ticking the consent box (or by continuing with Google after reading the notice shown there). If you take the free assessment before signing up, your answers are held temporarily in your session only so we can show your scores, and become part of an account only if you register.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account (see Account Deletion) or by writing to us. You also have the right to access and correct your personal data, to ask for it to be erased, to nominate another person to exercise your rights if you cannot, and to have a grievance addressed using the contact in section 12. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.

9. Minimum age

Wellora is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger. If you believe a younger person has registered, please contact us so we can remove the account.

10. Not medical advice

Wellness scores, grades, and recommendations generated by Wellora are general lifestyle indicators based on self-reported answers. They are not a medical diagnosis, and your assessment data is not shared with healthcare providers except where you explicitly book a consultation with one. If you are in distress or having thoughts of self-harm, please contact a licensed professional or a crisis helpline directly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
