You are always in control of your Wellora account. This page explains the two ways you can step away from your account, and exactly what each one does.
1. Deactivate vs. permanently delete
From your Profile → Danger Zone settings, you can choose one of two actions:
- Deactivate Account — logs you out and hides your account, but all your data (assessments, scores, payment history) is preserved. You can contact support to reactivate access later.
- Delete My Account (Permanent) — immediately and permanently removes your ability to log in, and anonymizes your personally identifying details. This action cannot be undone by you or by an administrator.
2. What happens when you permanently delete your account
- Your login is revoked immediately — your old email and password will no longer work.
- Your name and email are replaced with anonymized placeholders, and your mobile number is cleared.
- Your wellness assessment answers, scores, and reports are no longer associated with an identifiable person.
- Anonymized records of past payments and consultation requests may be retained where required for accounting, tax, or legal compliance — these records can no longer be linked back to your name, email, or mobile number.
- You are logged out immediately and redirected to the homepage.
3. How to delete your account
If you can log in:
- Go to Profile from your dashboard.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
- Select Delete My Account, confirm your password, and confirm the action.
If you can't log in, or need help, email us at support@wellorapp.in from your registered email address and we will process the deletion request on your behalf.
4. Timeline
Self-service deletion through your Profile takes effect immediately. Deletion requests sent by email are typically processed within a few business days after we verify your identity.
